Gene Brendler hosted this live
half-hour of humor and the musical interpretations of Ginny Becker, Jack Howell,
Joe Ingram, Bob Anson and Al Barker. Red hot jazz and special guests were the
main entrees for this program, which was broadcast from the KPTV studios.

Local show,
Wolfard's Supper
Club, Channel 27, has changed time to 9:30 p.m. Tuesdays. Coupla weeks back show went on the air with host Gene Brendler running (live) down a street with two Mack Sennett type cops chasing him. By the time the show
actually got on
the air and past the very sneaky credits, Brendler was so exhausted and out of breath he could hardly talk. Ole Fatso should get rid of some of that lard around his middle. About midway through the show Gene
did a commercial that started out with a soft shoe dance wherein Brendler nearly fell on his face, which if he had would indeed have been good for a laugh.
All
in all
it's a good, very good show with Brendler doing a Steve Allen, just as good as Allen himself. Ginny Becker is cute and sings up a storm. Music not bad, which should make this show a ROSIE contender for '57. If you don't watch
it
you're a coward.
