Northwest Reports
September 8, 1992 - September 14, 1997

Opening credits to the show, 1992.

Lars Larson hosted this weekly newsmagazine which profiled people of the Northwest and aimed to provide in-depth coverage of their accomplishment and concerns.

Segments on the premiere included an eye clinic in Chehalis, Washington; an interview with Bill Bowerman, the former University of Oregon track coach who was also a founder of Nike; and scenes of families from the Pacific Northwest who were bringing medical assistance to the beleaguered Kurds in northern Iraq.

Billed as "the first local weekly newsmagazine," Northwest Reports had aired as a series of specials on KPTV during the previous two years.
