After
the
end
of
Rusty
Nails'
very
successful
weekday
morning
series
(see
Rusty
Nails'
Cartoons),
he
became
host
of
this

movies
from
the
1940s-1960s.
The
program
was
stretched-out
over
a
two-and-a-half-hour
slot,
to
allow
Rusty
time
to
perform
his
clown
acts
and
talk
about
the
day's
movie.
This
was
Rusty
Nails'
last
regular
appearance
on
Portland
television.
Following
this,
he
returned
to
performing
live
before
audiences
around
the
country.
On
December
23,
1972,
in
this
time
slot,
Rusty
Nails
was
the
local
host
for
coverage
of
the
"Santa
Claus
Lane
Parade,"
from
Hollywood,
California.
